07.08.01: Ba'ta'clan Café, boulevard Voltaire / Passage St. Pierre Amelot
One place we could count on staying open was the café adjoining the Bataclan theatre, just up the road from my apartment. The Bataclan itself had some remnants of its original faux-Chinese architecture, and the café itself had a fairly alluring interior. My only half-hour here, though, was simply to pass the time between washer and dryer.
