01.07.01: Café de l'Avenue, avenue René Coty / rue du Couédic Although the Orléans was my local on the busy boulevard, this was in fact the more local local on the anodyne avenue. I walked by it more or less every time I came home from Créteil, but never really gave it a second thought; it sort of seemed like a styled-down version of a potentially stylish café. But since I was moving away from the 14e in a matter of days, I figured it was about time. A sun-drenched corner made for a good half-hour's basking, with not a thing of note happening anywhere in view.
