12.01.01: L'Apparement Café, rue des Coutures St. Gervais Here's to covering alot of ground. Possibly my inaugural ride on the line 2 métro to get out to Belleville, where the market is, frankly, a little underwhelming (although being foreign territory to me at this point, it does have a certain wildness lacking in the ol' 14e). We hike across town via the Canal St. Martin, and when Tanya lets me know the game is up, we're conveniently near yet another of Joe's recommendations, right by the Picasso museum. A very "interior" place on a small street, it does have that "hybrid" feeling Joe mentions, not to mention several classic board games.
