06.03.01: Le Molière, Rue St. Honoré / Rue du Pont Neuf
Yes, it's two weeks before the solstice, but with spots of sunshine and a coat-less balmy feel to things, this qualifies as the first day of spring - or at least of that teasing day that comes round in late winter to taunt you into thinking spring's around the corner. This café/resto, just off the park that stands on the plaza occupied for 700 years or so by the main market of Paris, offers up a great terrasse for getting through three chapters of The Idiot and then running off to a screening of Kurosawa's Ange Ivre.
