07.04.01: Le Weekend, Place Franz Liszt
Nothing like last-minute attempt to find a seder on Erev Passover, and running about town from synagogues in thr 16e to community centers in the 10e on a Saturday was an especially brilliant plan. When the downpour starts, I run for cover in yet another pleasant but nondescript joint with the usual lively Saturday afternoon crowd. I haven't spent too much time in the 10e, which makes the nondescriptiness of this café all the more satisfying. Sitting in the window with a well-bestepped church overlooking the triangular square between us, I suppose the only thing to do is read the Forverts.
