10.12.01: Le Relais de L'Europe, boulevard Voltaire / passage St. Pierre Amelot
For every major travel event, there's some time spent a day or two before getting the laundry done, because no one wants to come home to a drawer with no clean socks. So as per usual, waiting for the dryer leaves a perfect half-hour to pause amidst the naugahyde goodness of one the dumpier little joints in my immediate neighbourhood. I'm due to be away for three weeks, coming back just in time for classes to resume at INALCO (I'll already be missing the coming week before Christmas break), but that would wind up closer to five weeks before I really felt ready to return with purpose. Leaving did also allow for a lovely "last supper" with Ruth, Nathalie and Thomas at L'Ébauchoir.
