26.05.01: Le Centre Ville, rue Montorgueuil / rue Mandar
Such as good student I can be. Two days before flying back to the States for a couple of weeks, and I'm getting myself to the BN for some communing with Judeo-Spanish manuscripts, albeit the one I've already worked and published on. Of course it's only the imminent trip to Ithaca that's gotten me back in gear anyway, almost as though to justify setting foot there - and just in case I do want to chat with an advisor or two. The summer in Paris would see a spurt or two of work, but not much in the way of sustained research, god forbid writing. This is all still a way's off, however, as I sit looking out onto the rue Montorgueuil, wondering just how much pretension I'll be willing to suppress on my first visit back to America.
