17.03.02: Le Pick-Clops, rue du Roi de Sicile / rue Vieille du Temple
Another St. Patrick's Day, and somehow this one winds up more low-key than last year, but in a much more enjoyable way. For some truly unknown reason, Brian and I were both inclined to avoid the pubs, although there may have been talk of ending up at the Wild Geese. Instead we head to Beaubourg for another slow-paced film starring Jeanne Balibar, Stade de Wimbledon, and afterward we hit what I officially declare this chronicle's most colourful spot, a little café/bar in the heart of the Marais that has dedicated itself to the promotion of interior decoratinng based on primary colours only. A couple of demis at the bar (cheaper!) is as Irish as things get.
